Grammy-winning artist Miguel sits down with science historian Jimena Canales for a conversation inspired by his song, “Nearsight [SID]” at the MIT Museum.
As part of the Museum’s thematic focus on TIME, this event will explore what science reveals about how we perceive time, how emotion stretches and compresses our sense of its passage, and why certain moments seem to linger while others slip by unnoticed.
Together, they examine the intimate relationship between music, memory, and the felt experience of time — where art and science meet.
This event is free with Museum admission. Seating is first come, first served; space is limited.
Sing For Science is sponsored in part by a grant from the Simons Foundation.
